Evaluation of the use of non-destructive methods of acoustic emission on materials
Vašíková, Simona ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Binar, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis is about acoustic emission itself and acoustic emission as a nondestructive method of testing materials. There are different types of metal materials corrosion too. In this thesis is possible also find corrosion protective methods. There are practical examples of use the acoustic emission method at metal materials corrosion from automotive, aviation, food processing and manufacturing industry with construction and civil engineering examples. The experimental part is focused on samples preparing and measuring the acoustic emission signals during continual corrosion process of grey cast iron in condensational corrosion chamber. These results are supported and completed with metallographic analysis.

Korozní degradace kovových materiálů
Kerber, Luboš
The thesis discusses the degradation of metallic materials in the salt spray. The work is focused on material 42CrMo4. From this steel are prepared test specimens for laboratory measurements. In the first part of the thesis is a theoretical and research described heat treatment, oxidation, mechanical and dynamic material testing, to be carried out on laboratory machines. The second part of the thesis is focused on processing the material to the required dimensions. Furthermore, the thesis deals with marking and heat treatment of the prepared sample and subsequent insertion into the prepared salt chamber. In the third part of the thesis is an analysis of the results that were obtained for samples prepared using laboratory testing, which were dynamic and mechanical tests.
SBRA Concept in Corrosion Modelling and Inspection Planning
Korouš, Jan ; Marek, Pavel
The paper turns attension to the application of the SimulationBased Reliability Assessment Method (SBRA) in case of a structu-ral member exposed to tension and to corrosion. The probabilityof failure, as a function of time, is calculated using directMonte Carlo simulation.
